What HazardLedger is
An informational tool that scores U.S. employers' historical workplace-safety records from public OSHA data. It is not legal advice and not a certification that any workplace is currently safe or unsafe. The score is a read of past federal records, not a live inspection.
Accuracy and corrections
We work to attribute records to the correct establishment and show unverified matches as such rather than guessing. Records can still contain errors that originate in the source data. Use the correction link on any page to dispute an entry; corrections are checked against the source records.
No payment ever changes, improves, or removes a score. Paid tiers give the person searching more data and monitoring, never a better outcome for the employer being searched.
Payments
One-time reports and Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew until cancelled from your account. A report purchase gives you the full underlying data, not a change to any score.
Acceptable use
Don't scrape at volumes that degrade the service, don't use the data to harass individuals, and don't misrepresent a historical score as a current safety certification.
HazardLedger is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OSHA, the U.S. Department of Labor, or BLS.
